Exile in Smutville

Wow I realized today I haven’t posted in forever. Life has been crazy busy. I actually did shake hands with King Neptune and it made my whole life!

Let me explain, Coney Island has an annual Mermaid Parade. It’s kind of like an underwater themed Mardi Gras. Definitely my favorite event. King Neptune is the grand marshal title. This year Lou Reed was King Neptune!!

Best…Day…Ever.

I’ve been working really hard lately. I mean like last week I only really slept 15 hours, it’s my own fault but still. The recording has been priority one. Well, after miss Canary but you know what I meant. It’s grueling, it’s also hit a brick wall. I might just jump ship and work on my solo project. I might be a lot safer this way.

As of late I’ve been giving tarot readings through Keen.com. So far its a rewarding experience. Catastrophe let it slip (so he says) to a few of his friends about my cards. Now I’ve got “celebrity” clients. Bigger names than me anyway.

I couldn’t be more pleased.

I also found time to catch up with Doe Deere at her birthday celebration. Doe fed Canary her first sweets. Delicious hand made cupcakes!! Oh, and rose lemonade rocks!

That’s how I like to remember last weekend.
