Published & Pete’s Mini Zine Fest

So the first issue of Pushing Pixel is done. It’s called Beastie Girl. It’ll be premiering at Pete’s Mini Zine Fest. Come out and get your copy July 31st (Saturday) 3-7pm. First of it’s kind, a small zine fest in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. Over 20 zinesters, artist, photographers and book makers will be there plus live music and performances.

Now Pushing Pixel is a quasi-made up and half true account of a young submissive’s reluctant journey on the path to self discovery. Finding strength in her submission. Lacie always knew she wanted to be a rockstar. Someone’s submissive? She’s not so sure Issue #1 is titled “Beastie Girl” is over 10 pages of memmior-y goodness.
The event will be held at Pete’s Candy Store in Williamsburg, just a short …walk from the L (Lorimer) or G (Metropolitan) trains.
Pete’s Mini Zine Fest is a free event focused on the amazing zine scene we have here in NYC. Artists will be tabling. Support the zine community in your own backyard! Give a little love–buy a little zine!

It’s weird to have another zine done. I’m keeping most of my goals for this year. Despite the family madness and band drama. (More on both later.)
Things are both slowing down and speeding up for me. Hopefully for the better. I’ll be playing catch up this week!! Look out for that . I’ve been a bad little geisha letting my work just pile up.
